Dr. Mary George

Dr. Mary George, DDS

Dr. Mary George is a native Houstonian- born and raised in Fort Bend County. She attended Houston Baptist University and double majored in Biology & Business Administration.

She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. On graduation she returned to Houston and elected to complete an additional two years of clinical and didactic training at the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry in Houston. The first residency was in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in advanced restorative dentistry. The second residency, a General Practice Residency, was in hospital based dentistry at Memorial Hermann Hospital, (TX Medical Center). The two years were spent training for complex dental techniques, and in the management of medically complex patients. Techniques for crown and bridge work was emphasized and the restoration of dental implants. Treatment of patients with significant cardiac, organ transplant concerns as well as many other difficult medical issues were significant portions of her training.

Dr. Mary George is still involved in both of those programs, but now as a professor supervising care. She is an Assistant Professor at UT Health School of Dentistry- Houston & for a while served as the Post Graduate Clinical Director of both General Dental Residency Programs (AEGD & GPR) before choosing to emphasis private practice more.

When she is out of the office, she enjoys all the time she can spend with her two little girls and husband!
